If you opt in to receive marketing or promotional communications from UpCrib, we may send you emails or text messages about products, services, memberships, live sessions, artist features, promotions, events, updates, or other related offerings.
Marketing email and SMS communications may be delivered through providers such as Klaviyo.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message.
You may opt out of promotional SMS messages at any time by following the instructions provided in the message.
Withdrawing consent for marketing communications will not affect transactional or service-related communications that we may still need to send, such as messages about purchases, billing, delivery, account access, support, or important policy updates. CASL generally requires consent before sending commercial electronic messages and also requires sender identification and an unsubscribe mechanism.
7. When We May Disclose Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information.

8. Artist Submissions, Hosted Pages, and Public Content
If you submit music, artwork, bios, profile details, links, branding, or similar materials for artist features, hosted pages, promotional opportunities, or live review content, some of that information may be displayed publicly or used in content published by UpCrib.
Please do not submit personal information you do not want made public in connection with artist-facing or promotional features.
If you submit content that includes personal information about another person, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide that information.
9. Discord, Ticketing, and Platform Integrations
UpCrib may use Discord, including community servers, ticket systems, role systems, bots, and automated API integrations, as part of customer support, communication, order fulfillment, community access, and platform operations.
If you interact with us through Discord, we may collect and use information such as your Discord username, display name, user ID, ticket content, support history, role assignments, linked access status, and related communications or activity necessary to operate our services.
We may also use automated systems or APIs to connect our website, purchases, submissions, memberships, support tools, and Discord-based workflows. These integrations may be used to help manage access, support, fulfillment, notifications, queue-related features, or related operations.
Your use of Discord is also subject to Discord’s own terms, privacy practices, and platform rules.

You may also withdraw consent to certain uses or disclosures of your personal information on reasonable notice, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and subject to the consequences of withdrawal. For example, if you withdraw consent for information necessary to provide an ongoing product, service, membership, account function, Discord-based access feature, or support workflow, we may not be able to continue providing that function.

If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first and provide enough detail for us to review the issue.
We will review privacy complaints in accordance with our internal privacy practices and applicable law. BC PIPA requires organizations to have a process to respond to complaints and to designate a person responsible for compliance.
16. Children and Minors
Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected in a manner not permitted by applicable law, we may delete it.
