Refund Policy
Effective Date: 2026-03-24
Last Updated: 2026-03-24
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made from UpCrib Inc. and UpCrib Studio through upcrib.net and related checkout flows.
By making a purchase, you agree to this Refund Policy together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Service Policy.
1. General Policy
Because UpCrib sells digital products, creative services, memberships, and live review-related purchases, refund eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased.
All refund decisions are subject to this Refund Policy, any package-specific terms shown at checkout, and any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.
2. Digital Products
Digital products, including downloadable files, presets, packs, templates, and similar non-physical goods, are non-refundable once they have been delivered, accessed, or made available.
Because of the nature of digital goods, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for:
-
accidental purchases;
-
change of mind;
-
failure to read the product description;
-
incompatibility caused by unsupported software, tools, or workflows not stated by UpCrib;
-
inability to use the product where the product was delivered as described.
If you experience a genuine technical delivery issue, you must contact us at info@upcrib.net, and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
3. Creative Services
Creative and digital services, including mixing, mastering, consultations, creative direction, stem editing, alt versions, and custom service packages, are handled as follows:
-
Full refund if the order is canceled before any work has started.
-
50% refund if the project is canceled after work has begun but before first delivery.
-
No refund after first delivery or after the project has been completed.
For the purposes of this policy, “work has begun” may include project intake, file review, session preparation, editing, mixing, mastering, revisions, communication-based fulfillment, or any material work performed on the order.
For the purposes of this policy, “first delivery” means the first delivery of a mix, master, draft, preview, revision round, or other service output related to the purchased project.
Refund requests for services must be submitted within 7 days of purchase unless otherwise required by law.
4. Memberships, Subscriptions, and Free Trials
Memberships and subscriptions, including recurring access products and free-trial conversions, are governed by the following rules:
-
subscription and membership fees are non-refundable once billed;
-
customers may cancel future renewals at any time before the next billing date;
-
cancellation stops future recurring charges only;
-
no partial, prorated, or retroactive refunds are issued for any current billing period unless required by law.
If a free trial converts into a paid subscription, it is the customer’s responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if they do not wish to be charged.
5. Live Music Reviews, Queue Submissions, and Queue Upgrades
Purchases connected to live music reviews, live sessions, queue submissions, priority placements, skip upgrades, top-spot placements, or similar event-based features are non-refundable once purchased.
This includes purchases where:
-
the customer changes their mind;
-
the customer no longer wants review placement;
-
the customer fails to attend, watch, or participate in the session;
-
the customer is dissatisfied with the audience response, review outcome, or promotional result;
-
the submission is delayed or repositioned for normal operational reasons consistent with platform rules.
However, we may review refund requests in cases involving:
-
verified duplicate charges;
-
clear billing errors;
-
technical charging issues;
-
cases where UpCrib determines that a refund is appropriate in its discretion.
6. Duplicate Charges and Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged in error, including a duplicate charge, unauthorized duplicate purchase, or technical billing issue, you must contact us at info@upcrib.net as soon as possible.
Verified billing errors may be refunded in full.
We may request information reasonably necessary to investigate the charge, including:
-
name used at checkout;
-
email address;
-
purchase date;
-
order details;
-
payment receipt or transaction reference.
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly approved by UpCrib in writing, refunds will not be issued for:
-
change of mind;
-
dissatisfaction based solely on personal taste after service delivery within scope;
-
failure to use or download a purchased product after delivery;
-
failure to cancel a subscription before renewal;
-
inactivity, delay, or abandonment caused by the customer;
-
unsupported software, unsupported platforms, or user-side technical setup issues not caused by UpCrib;
-
failure to read the offer description, package scope, or eligibility terms before purchase;
-
promotional outcomes, audience response, commercial results, or career expectations not being met.
8. Inactive or Abandoned Service Projects
If a service project becomes inactive because the customer fails to provide required files, approvals, revision notes, or responses, the project may be paused or treated as abandoned in accordance with our Service Policy.
Refunds are not guaranteed for abandoned projects.
Where work has already begun, abandoned projects remain subject to the service refund rules stated in this policy.
9. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback, customers must contact UpCrib at info@upcrib.net to give us a reasonable opportunity to review and resolve the issue.
Fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith chargebacks may result in:
-
suspension or termination of access;
-
refusal of future service;
-
removal from memberships, community access, or platform features;
-
submission of supporting records to the payment processor in defense of the charge.
10. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email:
info@upcrib.net
Your request should include:
-
your full name;
-
the email address used for the purchase;
-
the product or service purchased;
-
the purchase date;
-
the reason for the request;
-
any supporting proof of billing error or issue, where applicable.
For billing, refund, cancellation, or legal record purposes, refund requests should be made by email, not Discord.
11. Processing Time
If a refund is approved, we will process it to the original payment method used at checkout unless otherwise required by law or agreed by us in writing.
Refund timing after approval may vary depending on Stripe, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
12. Rights Under Applicable Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Where consumer protection law gives you a cancellation or refund right that cannot be waived, that right will apply despite anything in this policy to the contrary.
